Happy Holidays!

Nothing much to report on the adoption front. We're having our home visit next week, and we're starting to work on the stack of papers needed for our dossier. Mostly, though, we've been enjoying some time together with family and our little ones that are already here. We've also been re-arranging and organizing our bedroom, and even though it's not done, it's the cleanest it's been since we moved in.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, and that you can continue to enjoy the end of this year and the beginning of the new one! I haven't had a chance to put pictures from this Christmas on my computer yet, so I'll leave you with a picture from last year.

  1. Hi Katie,

I've just come across your blog from RR and am excited to follow your journey. You mentioned you may adopt one or two children and I'm so hopeful you'll be able to make it two. Your little girl looks so precious. It will be fun to have some pink in the house, no?

    Good luck!

  2. Thanks Sue! We're so excited to be doing this, and I'm definitely looking forward to not being the only girl in our house! We hope to adopt 2, but we'll have to wait and see. Right now we don't know of any other little ones in our daughters region/country who fit the age range and special needs we feel capable of handling, so that's why we're just committed to one right now. But we hope to find another before we travel!
